I am filled with blog posts that never get written. And posts that seem to get written but not published. I am weeks behind even on my travel updates. But I have decided that Wednesdays are now ‘new blog post’ days.
Expect it.
I will endeavour to even have posts ready ahead of time for when I am off travelling. Part of the problem is that I feel the need to repeatedly check for errors, to rework each piece until it is word perfect. I’m not even sure what that looks like, I just know that it’s the desire.
So, I am going to do my best to ditch that. Every Wednesday, I will write something for this blog. (There may even be some bonus weekend posts because I am quite behind.)
It may not be perfect, but no one ever got any better at anything without dedicated practice.
Things you can look forward to:
– thoughts on places I have visited and yet to blog about (Monaco, Nice, multiple places in Scotland, and Le Havre, at least)
– what it’s like to be a language assistant, the day to day of the job, the application process
– posts on France and what it’s like living here
– what I hope the next French school year will look like for me
Moving forward, these posts may be less refined, a little more rambly… but I know who my most dedicated readers are, and I know they won’t really mind if I occassionally wax lyrical.
So, I look forward to seeing you Wednesday, when I finally publish the Monaco post that has been sitting on my computer for over at least two months!
P.S. The accompanying gallery may be delayed, because upon setting my intention, I have immediately discovered that my laptop is currently not letting me access my blog. I can make the words appear by other powers (I’m quite magical, I’m sure you know), but the photos are another realm entirely. You can see the highlights reel on Instagram however: @jennindeed
